I was the "Run-a-way Bride" at a costume party that I had to go solo to b/c Chris was sick.
How many kids cry and won't eat their cupcake on their birthday...only a FrithSmith/Sathre...we are not cake fans.

My little Halloween baby...well the 29th, but I came home from the hospital on Halloween last year.

On our way to go trick-or-treating at the Bridgeport Marketplace on the 30th. My favorite "treat" was 2 free kids meals at Daphines.

Awana: Dress like a Bible Character Night. Ryder LOVED dressing up like a shepherd--esp. b/c he got to carry a "staff" all night.

This was our last round of Halloween Celebrations. This is the actual night of trick-or-treating. We hung in our neighborhood a bit and then went and treated with some friends.

Superman--if you can believe it...this is my little brother Brian's cape.

I'm all about not spending money on Halloween costumes. Hey Ryder...do you want to be a dirt bike rider for Halloween (b/c we have all the clothes for actually riding)? Mom you are the coolest! I have the best costume ever!

Carpinteria Camping Trip

Our friends invited us up to Carpinteria for a little camping before our S. Cal summers turn into fall (probably not until Dec.). We set up my dad's tent in front of their trailer and had a blast. It was so fun falling asleep to the waves and waking up on the sand. We had some great family time, friend time around the campfire, and just enjoying God's amazing creation at the beach. Do I live here yet?

He even wants to play baseball at the beach. As we always say, baseball...morning, noon, and night.

Tide Pool Evenings--priceless.

Early Morning Breakfast.

Summer - Fall

Ryder LOVES when he and Matix can be dressed alike, so Gramma got the perfect present for Matix and Ryder--matching sweatshirts.
Matix's 1st bday celebration with Chris' family.

Ryder and Matix playing outside the screen window and in Bali's dog door.

Matix is our early walker. He took his 1st steps at 9.5 months and was totally walking at 10.5 months. He just turned a year on Oct. 29th.

Ryder's 1st Dodger Game. He asked us to take him to a Dodger Game everyday for about a month. He not only got to enjoy the game but he was able to run the bases after the game.

Chris is in heaven everytime I dress them in their matching UCLA shirts. It is probably Chris' dream for one of them to play for UCLA football someday.

Here is our Moosie!

Easter Pictures

Whose the cutest moose? Matix Moose!

Wow! We are a family of 4. Crazy...

Nonnie and Papa holding their FrithSmith boys.

The Easter Egg Hunt participants. Chris and Brian had a very close race, but Chris' persistance won him the title of "Winner" by 2 eggs. The rest of us were a far cry for 3rd and 4th.

More fun Christmas pics...

Matix will probably kill me for these pictures when he's a teenager,
but Auntie Carol bought him this bear coat so pictures had to be posted.

We never did get a white Christmas, but when I had to feed Matix on the way home we were able to stop on the side of Hwy 40and play in the snow.

Of corse Chris found a piece of plywood that the boys kept themselves busy making it into a sled/snowboard/skimboard. They were so fun to watch out the car window when they weren't pegging me with snowballs.

Christmas in Precott, AZ

Tyler (3) and Ryder (2)--These cousins couldn't part from each other the entire trip.

Gramma bought me this outfit so I couldn't disappoint her for the pictures on Christmas morning.

Mommy bought me and Tyler the same skater shirt so we could be buds.

Matix's Arrival

After being post-due by 1-day, I was induced on Wednesday, October 29th at 9am. Matix Frith-Smith was born at 6:30pm. He is healthy and Mommy is trying to recover at home with 2 kids! :) This first picture is Kimmie's last prego picture; I'm on my way to the hospital.
